This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Florida.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

.RIP CURRENT AND SURF IMPACT...
A high risk of life-threatening rip currents exists at all
central Florida Atlantic beaches. Entering the water is highly
discouraged. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don`t
swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following
the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or
wave for help. A High Surf Advisory is also in effect for large
breaking waves of 6 to 9 feet. Run-up may occur to the dune line,
covering much of the beach at high tide. Minor to moderate beach
and/or dune erosion is possible.

.COASTAL FLOOD IMPACT...
During today`s high tide cycles, minor coastal flooding is
possible, especially along the Volusia County coast. A Coastal
Flood Advisory remains in effect for the Volusia County coast.

.HIGH WIND IMPACT...
Wind gusts from 25 to 35 mph are expected along the barrier
islands and US-1 corridor. Loose items that are not properly
tethered, such as holiday decorations, may be tossed by these
wind gusts.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
Hazardous conditions are present across all of the local Atlantic
waters and Small Craft Advisories are in effect. East winds
around 25 knots are forecast, with seas building to 9 to 14 feet.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
Hazardous beach and boating conditions are forecast to last
through the weekend and into at least the first half of next
week. This includes a high risk of rip currents, rough surf with
large breaking waves, and the potential for minor to moderate
coastal erosion during times around high tide. Minor coastal
flooding is also possible, especially Sunday, along the Volusia
coast.

A slight chance for lightning storms returns on Tuesday afternoon
and evening, mainly from Cape Canaveral southward.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
