...Strong Thunderstorms Along the Sea Breeze...

Latest radar imagery as of mid afternoon shows scattered
thunderstorms developing along the sea breeze in Volusia and Brevard
counties. A few storms have become strong, with wind gusts of 40
mph, heavy rain and frequent lightning strikes occurring. Additional
storms have developed in the vicinity of Lake Okeechobee and in
Martin and St Lucie counties, moving northward. While most storms
are currently stationary, the sea breeze will push slowly inland,
with activity reaching the interior by the early evening.
