THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
There is a high risk of rip currents at area beaches. Rough surf
is expected. Entering the water is strongly discouraged.

.MARINE THUNDERSTORM GUST IMPACT...
An isolated shower capable of producing winds of 34 knots or
greater cannot be ruled out over the Atlantic waters and near the
east central Florida coast. These gusty showers could drift
onshore into the Intracoastal waters into the overnight and early
morning hours.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
A Small Craft Advisory continues for all of the local Atlantic
waters due to northeast winds around 20 knots and seas up to 6 to
9 feet.

.RIVER FLOOD IMPACT...
The Saint Johns River near Astor will continue within Moderate
Flood stage through at least late week, then start to slowly
decline late this week and into the weekend.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.
Scattered lightning storms will return midweek. Any stronger
storms that develop will have the potential to produce brief
gusty winds and frequent lightning strikes. At least a Moderate
Risk of rip currents and rough surf will continue through
midweek. Use caution at the beach.

Winds and seas are forecast to remain elevated into the middle of
this week, before decreasing into late week. As a result, poor to
hazardous boating conditions are forecast across the local
Atlantic waters, especially well offshore.

The St Johns River at Astor is forecast to remain in Moderate
Flood Stage through the end of the work week. The river at
Sanford and at Geneva above Lake Harney are forecast to reach
Action Stage by late week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed tonight.
