...Mostly Sunny, Near Record Heat Away From the Coast...

The late March heat wave continues as a high pressure ridge over the
top of Florida refuses to loosen its grip for yet another day. Look
for high temperatures near the coast to reach the mid to upper 80s,
while areas inland from Interstate 95 and the Saint Johns River
reach
the lower 90s.

Today`s high temperature records of 91 degrees at both Leesburg
and Sanford will likely be tied or broken, while the record of 97
degrees at Orlando, dating all the way back to the heat wave of
1907, will very likely stand.
