THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Isolated lightning storms will be possible, mainly this afternoon,
north and west of a line from Melbourne to Lake Okeechobee. Gusty
winds of 30 to 40 mph, occasional lightning strikes and brief
moderate to heavy rainfall will be the main impacts as storms move
to the northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
There will continue to be a Moderate to High risk of life-
threatening rip currents at all east central Florida beaches.
While the threat for rip currents will be present all day, it will
be highest during the hours surrounding low tide from 945 AM
through 3 PM. Use extreme caution at the beach. Entering the
water remains highly discouraged.

.MARINE THUNDERSTORM GUST IMPACT...
Wind gusts up to around 35 knots will be possible in a few
lightning storms over the Atlantic waters generally north of the
Cape, as well as inland lakes over the interior this afternoon.

.RIVER FLOOD IMPACT...
The latest forecast has the Saint Johns River at Astor continuing
a slow decrease within Minor Flood Stage through this week.
Elsewhere, the Saint Johns River at Sanford and near Lake Harney
is forecast to stay within or near Action Stage, which is just
below Flood Stage through late week. Refer to daily Flood
Statements and River Statements from NWS Melbourne for the latest
river levels and forecasts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.
At least a moderate risk of dangerous rip currents is anticipated
into late week at area beaches. Isolated lightning storms are
expected most of this week during the afternoon and early evening
periods.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
