A Moderate risk of life-threatening rip currents will continue at the beaches of east central Florida today. A northerly wind building down the coast this afternoon will produce an increasing longshore current along the local beaches. Strong rip currents are also likely near piers, jetties and reefs. Always swim within sight of a lifeguard and never swim alone. .WIND AND SEA IMPACT... Small craft should exercise caution if venturing into the offshore waters tonight, as northeast to east winds are expected to increase up to 15 to 20 knots beyond 20 nautical miles. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. Winds will increase out of the east on Sunday, before shifting to the southeast and south late on Sunday night and into Monday. This is expected to produce poor boating conditions at times offshore through Monday night.
