...An Isolated Strong Thunderstorm or Two Possible This Afternoon...

This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Thunderstorms: A few thunderstorms are possible over the interior and
east coast metro areas this afternoon. The strongest activity may
contain wind gusts up to 50 mph and small hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A few thunderstorms will be possible middle of next week especially
over the interior and east coast metro areas. The primary impacts
from the storms will be lightning.

An elevated risk of rip currents can be expected along the Atlantic
coast late this weekend into early next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Widespread spotter activation is not anticipated, however individual
spotters are encouraged to report high wind, and hail to the
National Weather Service forecast office in Miami.
