This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic, Biscayne Bay, South Florida, Gulf of Mexico and Lake Okeechobee. .DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight. Rip Currents: There is a high risk of rip currents along the Atlantic Coast Beaches. Marine: Northeast winds of 15 to 20 knots over the Atlantic and Gulf waters as well as seas up to 6 feet in the the Atlantic today could lead to periods of hazardous marine conditions. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. An elevated risk of rip currents will remain in place across the Atlantic Coast beaches as a moderate onshore flow continues. Additionally dangerous surf may be possible over the Palm Beach coastline in the mid-week period as northeasterly swell increases. Periods of near-hazardous marine conditions will be possible in the mid-week period as easterly winds increase.
