This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters, southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of Mexico. .DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight. Thunderstorms: Isolated thunderstorms could develop this afternoon and evening focused across inland portions of South Florida around Lake Okeechobee. Lightning and gusty winds are possible with any thunderstorms that develop. Rip Currents: There is a high risk of rip currents for the Palm Beach and Broward County beaches. A moderate risk of rip currents remains in place across the Miami-Dade County Beaches. Fog: Patchy fog is possible again tonight and could reduce visibilities especially across the interior and western locations. Excessive Heat: Heat index values could rise into the mid 90s this afternoon across interior portions of Southwest Florida. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. The rip current risk could remain elevated through the rest of the week and into the upcoming weekend along the Atlantic Coast beaches.
