...A Few Strong Storms Possible Over Interior/West Coast...

This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

Thunderstorms: Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected over
the interior and west coast areas through this evening. Some of the
storms could become strong. Primary impacts will be gusty winds,
cloud-to- ground lightning, and locally heavy rainfall.

Waterspouts: Waterspouts are possible over the Gulf waters in
showers through the evening.

Wind: A few strong thunderstorms are possible over the interior and
west coast. The stronger storms will be capable of producing gusty
downburst up to 50 mph.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

Thunderstorms will be possible each afternoon with lightning, gusty
winds, and locally heavy rainfall possible.

An elevated risk of rip currents is expected early in the work week
along the Atlantic beaches.

Spotter activation may be needed. Please relay any information about
observed severe weather to the NWS while following all local, state,
and CDC guidelines.
