Through 400 pm, isolated showers will wax and wane as they move
northwest at 15 to 20 knots across the Straits of Florida, Florida
Bay, the offshore Gulf waters and the nearshore waters surrounding
the Island Chain. Occasionally, brief passing showers will move
across the Island Chain. Mariners may encounter wind gusts 25 to 30
knots, along with reduced visibilities in moderate to heavy
downpours. On land, any showers will be capable of producing a few
hundredths of an inch to a few tenths of an inch of rainfall.
