.NOW...
Through 3 am, scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms will
move northwest at 10 to 15 knots through the distant Straits of
Florida, and the nearshore waters of the Middle and Upper Keys. The
strongest activity is currently located about 40 nm south of the Dry
Tortugas This activity is capable of moderate to heavy downpours
reducing visbilities, wind gusts of near 25 knots, and occasional
lightning strikes. Island communities from Duck Key to Windley Key
can see a few tenths of an inch of rainfall.
