Through 500 am, scattered showers will move northwest across the Florida Straits, primarily out from the Lower Keys and Dry Tortugas. Isolated showers will traverse the Florida Keys and surrounding nearshore waters at a similar speed and direction. Mariners should be aware that the strongest activity in the Straits will be capable of blinding downpours within pockets of heavy rainfall, as a well as wind gusts up to 25 knots. $$ WLC
