This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Florida Keys and
adjacent coastal waters.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible today and
tonight. The primary thunderstorm hazards will be cloud to
surface lightning strikes, locally gusty winds, and localized
flooding.

Atmospheric conditions will be marginally favorable for
waterspouts today and early this evening across the Keys coastal
waters. Waterspouts tend to form beneath lines of building
cumulus clouds, just at the hint of rain. Waterspouts can easily
flip boats, and should be avoided always.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible through the
period, especially on Monday. The primary thunderstorm hazards
will be cloud to surface lightning strikes and locally gusty
winds.

.NOW...
Through 500 PM, isolated showers and thunderstorms will meander
across the coastal waters of the Florida Keys. As these showers and
storms wax and wane, they will be capable of brief bouts of
lightning, localized wind gusts 20 to 25 knots, and periods of poor
visibility within pockets of slow-moving heavy rain. Most island
communities will avoid the action.
