PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. Franklin and Gulf Counties.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

was 19.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:15 PM EDT Wednesday /6:15 PM CDT Wednesday/ was
20.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Friday morning and continue falling to 15.9 feet Monday
evening.
