THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.DENSE FOG/SMOKE IMPACT...
A large area of dense fog along the west coast of Florida has
gradually spread eastward across much of the Florida peninsula
overnight and is expected to persist through 9 or 10 AM with
conditions improving thereafter. This fog is producing
visibilities of a half mile or less.

Motorists should be alert for rapidly changing visibilities along
area roadways this morning. If encountering dense fog, slow down,
use your low beam headlights and leave plenty of distance between
your car and the one in front of you.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
A Moderate risk of rip currents continues at the central Florida
Atlantic beaches. While rip currents will be present all day, the
threat will be highest during the afternoon due to tidal effects.
Swim only within sight of a lifeguard and never enter the ocean
alone.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.
The rip current threat is expected to remain Moderate through the
end of the work week. Poor to hazardous marine conditions are
expected to develop behind a cold front that is currently forecast
to approach the area on Sunday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
