Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 0-20 nm...
At 1124 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along
the Volusia coast, capable of producing winds to around 33 knots.
These thunderstorms were located near Port Orange, moving southeast
at 10 to 15 knots. These showers and storms will continue to sink
southward into the Brevard coastal waters past midnight.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 33 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. A special marine warning may
eventually be required. Boaters should consider heading for shore
before these strong thunderstorms arrive.
