This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Florida.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Isolated thunderstorms will be possible over the Atlantic waters,
mainly offshore the Treasure coast. The primary threat will be
occasional cloud to ground lightning.

.RIP CURRENT AND SURF IMPACT...
A Moderate risk of life-threatening rip currents exists at all
central Florida Atlantic beaches. Always swim near a lifeguard and
never enter the water alone. Rough surf will also exist along the
Volusia and Brevard coasts due to breezy northeast winds.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
Poor to hazardous boating conditions will develop today mainly
north of Sebastian Inlet as northeast winds increase behind a
frontal boundary and seas build especially in the Gulf Stream.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Windy conditions are forecast Sunday with Southwest winds
frequently gusting 30 to 35 mph. Near record highs in the mid to
upper 80s are also forecast.

At least a Moderate risk of dangerous rip currents will continue
through the weekend.

Poor to hazardous boating conditions will continue through the
weekend.

...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Rough surf and a Moderate risk of rip currents expected.

* WHERE...Beaches of Volusia and Brevard counties.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Increased Northeast to East winds will produce rough
  surf. A Moderate risk of strong rip currents will also exist.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
