This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Florida.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Scattered showers and lightning storms are forecast to move across
east central Florida late this afternoon through tonight. A few
storms could become strong to severe, capable of damaging wind
gusts, hail, and a brief tornado.

.HIGH WIND IMPACT...
South-southwest winds of 15 to 20 mph will gust as high 35 mph
today, especially this afternoon, ahead of an approaching cold
front. Secure loose outdoor objects.

.RIP CURRENT AND SURF IMPACT...
A high risk of life-threatening rip currents exists at all
central Florida Atlantic beaches. Entering the water is highly
discouraged. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don`t
swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following
the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or
wave for help.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
A fresh to strong southerly breeze will continue to produce
hazardous boating conditions over the local Atlantic waters. Seas
build up to 7 feet offshore, mainly north of Sebastian Inlet.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
At least a moderate risk of rip currents will exist at Atlantic
beaches this week.

Boating conditions will remain poor to hazardous this week,
especially offshore, as winds and seas build over the local
Atlantic.

Fire danger increases this week, especially on Monday, as lower
humidity builds over east central Florida.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotters should monitor the weather and self activate if needed.

Please refer to the Graphical Hazardous Weather Outlook at
weather.gov/mlb/ghwo for more information.
