Patchy dense fog is forecast mainly between 4am and 8am north of the Treasure Coast counties with areas of dense fog forecast over portions of northern Lake and northern Volusia counties. The potential exists for visibility reductions to 1/4 mile over Lake and western Volusia counties and to 1 mile elsewhere north of the Treasure Coast. Remember to slow down and use your low beem headlights if you encounter fog. .RIP CURRENT AND SURF IMPACT... Rough surf and a High Risk of life-threatening rip currents exist at all central Florida Atlantic beaches. Entering the water is highly discouraged. But if you nonetheless decide to enter the surf and get caught in a rip current, try to relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. .WIND AND SEA IMPACT... A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for the local Atlantic waters. East winds 10 to 20 knots and seas to 6 to 9 feet will cause poor to hazardous boating conditions. .RIVER FLOOD IMPACT... The Saint Johns River continues to decline in Moderate Flood Stage and is near Minor Flood Stage at Astor. The Saint Johns River Above Lake Harney is in Action Stage. The Saint Johns River at Deland and Sanford are expected to continue a slow decline or near steady in Minor Flood stage through early this week. River levels near these points will continue to experience Minor to Moderate Flood impacts this at least through early this week with the exception of Above Lake Harney. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. A High Risk of dangerous rip currents is forecast to continue Monday. Boating conditions will slowly improve Monday and Tuesday before deteriorating again mid to late week. Isolated lightning storms are forecast Monday over the Atlantic waters and portions of the Treasure coast to eastern Okeechobee county. Residents and interests along the Saint Johns River near Astor will continue to experience Minor to Moderate flood impacts for the foreseeable future.
