...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE...Coastal Volusia, Coastal Indian River, Coastal Saint
  Lucie, Coastal Martin, Mainland Northern Brevard, Northern
  Brevard Barrier Islands, Mainland Southern Brevard and
  Southern Brevard Barrier Islands Counties.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
  from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Rip currents are powerful channels of water flowing quickly away
from shore, which occur most often at low spots or breaks in the
sandbar and in the vicinity of structures such as jetties and
piers. Heed the advice of lifeguards, beach patrol flags and
signs.

Entering the surf is strongly discouraged. If caught in a rip
current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If
able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Florida.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

.DENSE FOG/SMOKE IMPACT...
Patchy dense fog is forecast mainly between 4am and 8am north of
the Treasure Coast counties with areas of dense fog forecast over
portions of northern Lake and northern Volusia counties. The
potential exists for visibility reductions to 1/4 mile over Lake
and western Volusia counties and to 1 mile elsewhere north of the
Treasure Coast. Remember to slow down and use your low beem
headlights if you encounter fog.

.RIP CURRENT AND SURF IMPACT...
Rough surf and a High Risk of life-threatening rip currents exist
at all central Florida Atlantic beaches. Entering the water is
highly discouraged. But if you nonetheless decide to enter the
surf and get caught in a rip current, try to relax and float.
Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction
following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and
call or wave for help.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for the local Atlantic waters.
East winds 10 to 20 knots and seas to 6 to 9 feet will cause poor
to hazardous boating conditions.

.RIVER FLOOD IMPACT...
The Saint Johns River continues to decline in Moderate Flood
Stage and is near Minor Flood Stage at Astor. The Saint Johns
River Above Lake Harney is in Action Stage. The Saint Johns River
at Deland and Sanford are expected to continue a slow decline or
near steady in Minor Flood stage through early this week. River
levels near these points will continue to experience Minor to
Moderate Flood impacts this at least through early this week with
the exception of Above Lake Harney.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
A High Risk of dangerous rip currents is forecast to continue
Monday. Boating conditions will slowly improve Monday and Tuesday
before deteriorating again mid to late week.

Isolated lightning storms are forecast Monday over the Atlantic
waters and portions of the Treasure coast to eastern Okeechobee
county.

Residents and interests along the Saint Johns River near Astor
will continue to experience Minor to Moderate flood impacts for
the foreseeable future. The river at Sanford and Deland is
forecast to fall below flood stage later this week.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida...

  St Johns River Near Deland affecting Lake and Volusia Counties.

.The Saint Johns River at Deland remains in Minor Flood Stage with a
continued gradual decline forecast this week. Levels are anticipated
to fall out of Minor Flood Stage by mid to late week.

For the St. Johns River...including Deland...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...St Johns River near Deland.

* WHEN...Until Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 4.0 feet, Docks and piers are completely submerged at
  Pier 44 Marina. Many docks are partially submerged at Hontoon
  Landing Marina.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 PM EST Sunday the stage was 4.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 3.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:30 PM EST Sunday was 4.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to slowly fall through Minor
    Flood Stage through the middle of this upcoming week, and
    eventually fall below Minor Flood Stage to 3.9 feet into
    Thursday.
  - Flood stage is 4.0 feet.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida...

  St Johns River Near Astor affecting Lake and Volusia Counties.

.The Saint Johns River at Astor remains in Moderate Flood Stage and
a slow decline is forecast to continue. River levels are forecast to
fall to Minor Flood Stage into early this week. Residents and
interests along the Saint Johns River should continue to expect
prolonged but improving flood impacts.

For the St. Johns River...including Astor...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

  forecast.

* WHERE...St Johns River near Astor.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 3.0 feet, Water approaches or may enter lowest homes
  on or near Wildhog Road and nearby canals. Flooding reaches the
  parking lot of the Juno Trail Apartments. Flooding on portions of
  Alligator Road and Holiday Road. Lowest lying yards along Blue
  Creek are flooded. Roads at Astor Landing Campground and Lake
  Dexter Boat Ramp begin to flood. Water enters lower homes closest
  to the river on McPherson Lane.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 PM EST Sunday the stage was 3.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 2.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:30 PM EST Sunday was 3.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to continue a gradual fall,
    eventually falling into Minor Flood Stage of 2.9 feet into
    early this week.
  - Flood stage is 2.3 feet.
