piers. Heed the advice of lifeguards, beach patrol flags and
signs.

Entering the surf is strongly discouraged. If caught in a rip
current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If
able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Florida.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Isolated to scattered showers are forecast across east central
Florida today. An occasional lightning storm will be possible.

.HIGH WIND IMPACT...
Winds will become breezy to windy across much of east central
Florida today. Gusts up to 25 to 30 mph are forecast with locally
higher peak gusts along the Space and Treasure Coast.

.RIP CURRENT AND SURF IMPACT...
A high risk of life-threatening rip currents exists at all
central Florida Atlantic beaches. Entering the water is highly
discouraged. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don`t
swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following
the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or
wave for help.

A High Surf Advisory is in effect at all east central Florida
beaches. The high surf and battering waves can knock you down and
make you more susceptible to being caught in a rip current.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
Sustained east winds between 20 and 25 knots combined with seas
of 7 to 10 feet will produce hazardous conditions to small craft
operators.

.RIVER FLOOD IMPACT...
The St. Johns River continues a slow decline, remaining in
Moderate Flood Stage at Astor and in Minor Flood Stage near Lake
Harney, Deland, and Sanford. Interests along the St. Johns River
near these points will continue to experience minor to moderate
flood impacts for the foreseeable future.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Strong east winds will cause hazardous beach and boating
conditions into mid week including rough surf and a high risk of
rip currents.

Increasing moisture will bring the risk of locally heavy rainfall
on Wednesday and Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
