...PATCHY DENSE FOG WILL AFFECT CENTRAL MANATEE...CHARLOTTE...
SOUTHWESTERN DESOTO...LEE AND SARASOTA COUNTIES...

At 509 AM EST, surface observations traffic cameras along Interstate
75 indicate fog is reducing visibilities to 1/2 mile or less at
times.

Locations impacted include...
Cape Coral, Fort Myers, North Port, Sarasota, Bradenton, Bonita
Springs, Punta Gorda, Arcadia, Lehigh Acres, Port Charlotte, South
Gate Ridge, Lake Sarasota, Palmona Park, Southwest Florida Airport,
Harlem Heights, Lochmoor Waterway Estates, Babcock Webb Wma, Cypress
Lake, Gulf Gate Estates and The Meadows.

Motorists should be prepared for sudden changes in visibility. Use
low beam headlights, reduce your speed, and maintain a safe distance
between your vehicle and the one ahead of you.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for West Central And Southwest
Florida.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

...DENSE FOG IMPACT...
Visibilities will occasionally be reduced to less than one quarter this
morning, especially across Southwest Florida. If driving,
slow down...use your low beam headlights...and leave plenty of distance
between you and the vehicle in front of you.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday Morning through Saturday.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Late overnight tonight through Monday early afternoon, thunderstorms are
expected. The thunderstorms will be capable of producing strong to isolated
damaging winds...locally heavy rains...and frequent deadly lightning
strikes. A tornado or waterspout cannot be ruled out, especially across
the Nature Coast.

...EXCESSIVE COLD IMPACT...
On Wednesday, freezing or near freezing temperatures will be possible across
the Nature Coast. Most other locations will fall into the upper 30s to
low 40s. In will be a chilly afternoon on Tuesday as well. Make sure to
dress in layers to protect yourself from the cold.

...RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
On Monday and Tuesday, high surf may produce rip currents along area
beaches.

...MARINE IMPACTS...
Tonight through Tuesday, wind speeds around 20 knots will create
hazardous boating conditions for small craft operators.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today, but could be necessary
early Monday depending on severity of the weather.
