A Moderate Risk of dangerous rip currents exists at all central Florida Atlantic beaches. Remember to always swim near a lifeguard and never enter the ocean alone. .WIND AND SEA IMPACT... Marine conditions are forecast to begin deteriorating late tonight across the local Atlantic waters. Northwest winds will increase to 20 knots across the Volusia and Brevard waters late tonight, with seas building up to 5 feet toward sunrise. A Small Craft Advisory will go into effect at 4 AM Wednesday for the Volusia and Brevard waters, while small craft will need to exercise caution farther south, offshore the Treasure Coast. .RIVER FLOOD IMPACT... The Saint Johns River near Astor is forecast to continue falling through Action Stage this week into the weekend. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY. A surge of even cooler air is forecast to push south into east central Florida on Wednesday. Temperatures will fall into the 40s across much of the area Wednesday night, with wind chills in the mid to upper 30s possible north of Interstate 4. A surge of north to northeast winds accompanying this second front will produce poor boating and beach conditions Wednesday through Thursday. A Small Craft Advisory will remain in effect across the entire local Atlantic waters through 4 AM on Thursday. The gusty north winds, coupled with much drier air will also increase fire weather sensitivity on Wednesday afternoon. Rain chances increase on Sunday, with a slight chance of lightning storms, as another frontal boundary crosses east central Florida. Some of the storms Sunday afternoon could be strong, producing gusty winds, frequent lightning and torrential downpours. Winds are forecast to once again increase across the local waters, with poor boating conditions forecast to develop Sunday into early Monday. A moderate risk of rip currents is forecast to continue at the central Florida Atlantic beaches this week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
