...FEW STRONG STORMS POSSIBLE ACROSS INTERIOR/GULF COAST...

This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Thunderstorms: Thunderstorms are possible this afternoon into the
early evening hours, with a focus across inland and western portions
of South Florida. Frequent lightning, locally strong wind gusts,
small hail, and heavy downpours are the primary hazards.

Flooding: Heavy rain could lead to isolated flooding across
vulnerable low-lying metro areas that have received heavy rainfall
over the past several days, particularly across the Gulf Coast
metros.

Wind: Thunderstorm wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph are possible,
especially across inland and western portions of South Florida during
the afternoon hours.

Waterspouts: Isolated waterspouts are possible across all local
waters.

Hail: Small hail is possible, mainly across the interior and Gulf
coast this afternoon and evening hours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

Thunderstorms are forecast each afternoon into the early evening
hours, with a focus across interior and western portions of South
Florida. Locally strong wind gusts, lightning, and localized
flooding across urban and poorly drained areas from heavy rainfall
are possible.


.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Widespread spotter activation is not anticipated, however individual
spotters are encouraged to report gusty winds, hail, and flooding to
the National Weather Service forecast office in Miami.
