This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Rip Currents: There is a high risk of rip currents for all Atlantic
Coast beaches today.

Excessive Heat: A few locations could reach heat indices around 90
degrees today, particularly across southwest Florida.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

The rip current risk could remain elevated through the rest of the
week and into the upcoming weekend along the Atlantic Coast beaches.

Hazardous marine conditions may develop across the Atlantic waters
this weekend with increasing winds and seas as a cold front
approaches and moves through the region.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible around the Lake Okeechobee
region Thursday afternoon and evening.

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents expected.

* WHERE...Coastal Miami Dade County.

* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
  from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
