This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Excessive Cold: Winds chills will drop into the low to mid 30s
overnight into Saturday morning across most of the interior. For the
east coast, wind chills will drop into the low to mid 40s.

Frost: Patchy frost is possible late tonight west of Lake
Okeechobee.

Rip Currents: A high risk for rip currents is in place for the Palm
Beaches now, and for the Atlantic beaches beginning this evening. A
moderate risk of rip currents remains in place for the Collier
County
beaches.

Marine: Hazardous marine conditions continue across the Atlantic
waters as northerly winds increase and range between 20 and 25 kts.
Seas will build and range between 7 to 11 feet.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

The high risk for rip currents for the Atlantic Coast Beaches will
likely extend into the weekend.

Hazardous marine conditions could remain in place through the first
portion of the weekend especially across the Atlantic waters.

Cold weather is expected across South Florida Saturday morning. Wind
chills will generally range from the 30s to 40s, with the coldest
locations being west of Lake Okeechobee.

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents expected.

* WHERE...Coastal Broward County and Coastal Miami Dade County.

* WHEN...Through Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
  from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
