...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IN EFFECT FROM NOON CDT TODAY THROUGH
LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents expected.

* WHERE...In Alabama, Mobile Coastal and Baldwin Coastal
  Counties. In Florida, Escambia Coastal, Santa Rosa Coastal and
  Okaloosa Coastal Counties.

* WHEN...From noon CDT today through late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
  from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.

Florida...

  Escambia River Near Century affecting Escambia County.

For the Escambia River...including Century...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...The Flood Warning remains in effect...

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Escambia River Near Century.
* Until further notice.
* At 8:05 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
  at 8:05 PM CDT Saturday was 20.3 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.7 feet
  by tomorrow afternoon. The river will slowly fall through the week.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet, Low lying pastures will flood. Cattle
  should be moved to higher ground.
