This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Florida.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
An approaching strong cold front will bring scattered showers and
isolated lightning storms across the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee
County through early evening. One or two storms may contain strong
winds up to 45 to 55 mph, cloud to ground lightning strikes, and
locally heavy rain. A brief tornado remains also possible.

.HIGH WIND IMPACT...
Windy conditions ahead of the rain and storms across the south with
southwest winds gusting 25 to 35 mph into late day. These winds will
blow around unsecured objects.

.EXCESSIVE COLD IMPACT...
Turning much colder tonight behind the front with lows in the
upper 30s across north Lake and Volusia counties with 40s and 50s
elsewhere. A north breeze will produce lowest wind chills toward
sunrise Monday morning in the lower 30s across Lake and Volusia
counties, with 40s down to Lake Okeechobee and interior Treasure
Coast counties.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for the offshore waters, and
goes into effect this evening for near shore marine legs. Winds will
become west to northwest behind a strong cold front with speeds
increasing to 20 to 25 knots. Seas will build late tonight 3-5 feet
near shore and up to 7 to 8 feet in the Gulf Stream.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Poor to hazardous boating conditions continue Monday. Boating
conditions may become dangerous Tuesday night into Wednesday with
near Gale force northerly winds and seas building 10-12 feet in
the Gulf Stream. Winds and seas are forecast to remain hazardous
for small craft through late week.

As an Arctic cold air outbreak overtakes much of the U.S.,
glancing effects are anticipated over East Central Florida this
week. Low temperatures are forecast to dip into the 30s mainly
north of Orlando again Tuesday morning. The coldest temperatures
are forecast to occur Saturday morning with 30s across all the
interior, Volusia county and interior Brevard with 40s over the
Treasure coast counties.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotters should monitor the weather and self activate if needed.
