Expect hazardous boating conditions across the local Atlantic waters due to northwest to north winds of 20 to 25 knots gusting to 35 knots with seas 6 to 9 feet. A Small Craft Advisory will be in effect for the entire local marine area through late tonight. .FIRE WEATHER IMPACT... Dry air and an increase in winds will produce fire sensitive conditions today, with minimum relative humidity values in the mid to upper 30s and sustained northwest winds near 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph. Rapid spread of fires due to gusty winds and low humidity will be possible today. .RIP CURRENT IMPACT... A Moderate Risk of dangerous rip currents exists at all central Florida Atlantic beaches. Remember to always swim near a lifeguard and never enter the ocean alone. .RIVER FLOOD IMPACT... The Saint Johns River near Astor is forecast to remain in Action Stage through the remainder of this week and into the weekend. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. Scattered to numerous showers and a few lightning storms are expected along and ahead of a fast moving cold front on Sunday. A few storms during the afternoon and early evening could become strong to marginally severe, with strong gusty winds, frequent lightning and torrential downpours. Ahead of the front, increasing south to southwest winds will produce poor to hazardous boating conditions Sunday, which will continue behind the front continue well into next week as fresh northwest winds gradually shift onshore. A moderate risk of rip currents is forecast to continue at the central Florida Atlantic beaches this week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
