This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central
Georgia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight...

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible across central Georgia this
evening. Severe thunderstorms are not expected at this time.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday...

Extended periods of heavy rainfall are expected Saturday through
Tuesday as a potential weak tropical system moves through Georgia
and tropical moisture lingers across the area. Heavy rainfall could
lead to quick rises o n smaller creeks and streams, river flooding,
and urban flash flooding.

In addition to the heavy rainfall, thunderstorms will be likely. The
primary threat from any thunderstorms will be frequent lightning and
gusty winds.

Uncertainty still exists concerning the exact timing and rainfall
amounts, so please continue to monitor the forecast for updates.
