A Flood Watch will be in effect today through Friday evening for portions of west Georgia. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible as tropical moisture overspreads the area through tonight, which may lead to flooding and flash flooding concerns. A Wind Advisory is in effect today through early Friday morning for portions of north Georgia. Wind gusts up to the 35 MPH with isolated gusts nearing 40 MPH are possible. An isolated, brief tornado threat will be in place this afternoon into tonight, mainly for areas west of the I-75 corridor. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday... Periods of heavy rainfall will remain possible Friday through Sunday, which will lead to continued flash flooding and flooding concerns. An isolated, brief tornado threat will remain possible, mainly for areas of west Georgia to the west of I-75 on Friday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
