This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

A Flood Watch is in effect through Saturday morning for portions
of western Georgia. Isolated rainfall totals near or above 4
inches may lead to flooding within the watch area.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday...

Periods of heavy rainfall will remain possible Saturday through
Sunday in western Georgia, which could lead to continued flash
flooding and flooding concerns.


.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not requested, but spotters are encouraged
to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to
weather.gov/atlanta. Please relay any information about observed
severe weather to the NWS.

...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, northwest, and west central Georgia,
  including the following counties, in central Georgia, Crisp and
  Dooly. In northwest Georgia, Carroll. In west central Georgia,
  Chattahoochee, Coweta, Harris, Heard, Macon, Marion, Meriwether,
  Muscogee, Pike, Schley, Stewart, Sumter, Talbot, Taylor, Troup,
  Upson and Webster.

* WHEN...Through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Additional rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    through Sunday morning with localized amounts of 3 inches
    possible in more persistent bands.
