Isolated to scattered afternoon thunderstorms, primarily across central Georgia, could bring gusty winds, frequent lightning, and brief downpours. Easterly winds will become breezy, with gusts to around 20-25 mph during the afternoon. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday... Isolated afternoon thunderstorms across south-central Georgia each day through mid-week, then across most of the area by late week. Following cooler weather early in the week, temperatures will gradually warm back to above normal by mid to late week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to weather.gov/atlanta.
