This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

Temperatures at or just below freezing at some of the highest
elevations above 3000 ft in northeast Georgia could support light
ice accumulations on elevated tree branches and powerlines.
Impacts over the next few hours should be minor, but isolated tree
damage or power outages are possible.

A Flood Watch is in effect through Thursday morning across
portions of north and central Georgia, roughly along and north of
a line from Troup county to Banks county. Multiple rounds of
heavy rainfall will bring 2 to 4 inches of rain with locally
higher amounts of up to 6 inches by Thursday morning. Minor
flooding of rivers, creeks, and streams is likely.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday...

The Flood Watch remains in effect through Thursday morning.
Scattered thunderstorms and periods of heavy and persistent
rainfall will be possible Wednesday through Thursday. Some of the
storms on Wednesday into Thursday could be strong, and an
isolated severe storm will be possible in west central Georgia.
Severe storms that develop may produce damaging wind gusts. A
brief tornado cannot be ruled out in west-central Georgia.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
