* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 10.

* WHERE...Portions of east central Georgia and central South
  Carolina.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with
  prolonged exposure.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Daytime temperatures will be abnormally cold
  for this time of year despite not meeting advisory criteria.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 3
  inches, with locally higher amounts possible.

* WHERE...Portions of east central Georgia and central South
  Carolina.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
  conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday
  morning commute.
