...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of east central Georgia, including the following
  counties, Burke, Columbia, Lincoln, McDuffie and Richmond and
  central South Carolina, including the following counties, Aiken,
  Barnwell, Edgefield and McCormick.

* WHEN...Through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Heavy rainfall has developed over the region and expected to
    continue overnight. Training rainfall is expected, with
    general 3"-6" totals expected. Higher amounts of 6"-8" are
    possible in the areas that receive the most training
    rainfall.
