...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of east central Peach
and north central Houston Counties through 845 PM EDT...

At 754 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Lakewood, or 9 miles
east of Fort Valley, moving southeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...40 to 50 mph wind, nickel sized hail and frequent cloud to
         ground lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Centerville, Warner Robins, and Lakewood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible this afternoon, primarily in
central Georgia.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday...

Isolated thunderstorms are possible Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday, especially in western and northwest Georgia. A strong
storm or two could occur, but in generally severe weather is
unlikely.

More widespread thunderstorm activity is possible Friday and a
couple strong or severe storms can`t be ruled out.
