This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, southwest
Minnesota and east central South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Breezy northwesterly winds will linger throughout the day, keeping
temperatures largely in the single digits and wind chill values in
the negative 20s.

Look for an even colder temperatures to prevail overnight, with lows
falling into the negative teens. Wind chills during this time will
fall as low as 30 below zero.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON
CST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as
  30 below zero.

* WHERE...Portions of east central South Dakota, northwest Iowa
  and southwest Minnesota. This includes the tribal lands of the
  Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribal Nation.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to noon CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite
  on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
