This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

Very high to extreme fire weather conditions continue this
afternoon. A Red Flag Warning is in effect for the area. Please
refer to the National Weather Service website at for further details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Thunderstorms are likely Monday night into Tuesday. Some storms
may be strong to severe over western Iowa late Monday afternoon
and Monday night with large hail the primary threat. Additional
strong to severe storms will be possible Tuesday as well.
Information on individual threats for that time will be better
known in the coming days.

A few other non-severe thunderstorms are possible Wednesday.


Spotters may be needed early next week.
