...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 7 PM CDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Southeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northern and northeast Iowa.

* WHEN...From 7 AM to 7 PM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Thunderstorms will be likely later tonight. A few storms may be
severe with large hail the primary concern.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A Wind Advisory is in effect for the area. Please refer to the
National Weather Service website at weather.gov/desmoines for
further details.

Additional thunderstorms can be expected Tuesday and Tuesday
night with a Marginal to Slight Risk of severe weather. Large
hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes will all be possible,
along with locally heavy rains.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed at times tonight through Tuesday evening.
