...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Iowa, southwest
  Minnesota, northeast Nebraska and southeast South Dakota.

* WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusty winds coupled with falling snow will
  result in periods of reduced visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwest Iowa,
west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska,
central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central
South Dakota, and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Winds will turn to the northwest through the day Friday, with
gusts up to 45 mph at times late Friday afternoon into Friday
night.

Light snow may also be possible Friday afternoon into Friday
evening. At this time, it appears that any snow accumulations will
be minimal. However, the combination of falling snow, gusty winds
and falling temperatures behind the cold front may cause
difficult travel due to briefly reduced visibility and refreeze of
melted snow on untreated roads.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
