This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

Generally non-severe thunderstorms are possible late this
afternoon through this evening. It is possible that a
thunderstorm or two may produce a funnel cloud or a very brief
weak tornado through the early evening hours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Non-severe thunderstorms are possible Tuesday through Thursday

Strong to perhaps severe thunderstorms are possible later
Thursday and more so during the period from Friday afternoon
through Sunday. Heavy rainfall may also be a concern late this
week into this weekend.


Spotter activation is not expected for today but may be needed
Friday afternoon through Sunday.
