This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

Thunderstorm chances return to the forecast overnight tonight,
mainly southwest and south. Severe weather is not anticipated
overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Isolated non-severe thunderstorms may linger through the day
Friday.

Additional storms are expected to develop late Friday and continue
through much of the weekend. Severe storms will be possible on
Saturday, especially during the later afternoon to evening hours,
with large hail and damaging wind gusts the primary threat, but a
tornado or two cannot be ruled out, especially far northwest.
Heavy rainfall will also be possible through the weekend.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected today, but could be needed this weekend.
