This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Area rivers are experiencing flooding. Please see the
latest Flood Statements and Flood Warnings for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

Periods of scattered thunderstorms are expected from Sunday night
through Tuesday night, and Wednesday night through Thursday
night. There is a Slight risk for severe storms on Monday along
and west of a Vinton, Iowa to Memphis, Missouri line and a
Marginal risk to the east. Damaging winds, heavy rainfall rates
leading to flash flooding, and lightning are the primary threats.
It is too early to determine the risk for severe weather beyond
Monday.

Building heat and humidity Wednesday through Friday may push peak
heat indices to near 100 degrees, especially on Thursday and
Friday. If scattered storms develop during the middle and end of
the week, heavy rainfall rates could produce more areas of flash
flooding.

Flooding is expected to continue on some area rivers. Please see
the latest Flood Statements and Flood Warnings for details.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
