This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible late tonight and into
Saturday morning. Some storms may be able to produce hail and
isolated heavy rain amounts.

Area rivers are experiencing flooding. Please see the
latest Flood Statements and Flood Warnings for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

There is a Marginal or a level 1 of 5 risk for severe weather on
Saturday and Sunday nights for areas north of Iowa City to
Princeton Illinois. During the late night hours, damaging wind and
large hail will be the primary threats if storms occur.

Hot and humid conditions will be seen Sunday and Monday. Afternoon
heat index values in the upper 90s to low 100s are expected.

A strong cold front will arrive Monday evening, with a chance for
more potentially strong to severe storms during the evening, and
cooler weather for the rest of the week.
