This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Thunderstorms are expected at times today and tonight. A few
severe storms are possible with the primary threat being damaging
winds. Large hail and a tornado are also possible. Heavy rain may
also occur with rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Significant ponding or localized flash flooding may occur. The
main threat for the severe weather and heavy rain is along an
southeast of Waverly to Fort Dodge and Denison line.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Thunderstorm chances return to the forecast at intervals through
the beginning of this week. Severe weather and heavy rainfall are
possible, especially on Monday, with gusty winds and hail being
the main concerns. Flash flooding and local river rises may occur
due to heavy rainfall.
