...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING THROUGH EARLY
MONDAY EVENING FOR ELEVATED TO CRITICAL FIRE CONDITIONS FOR
CENTRAL TO SOUTHERN IOWA...

The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Fire
Weather Watch, which is in effect from Monday morning through
Monday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Portions of Central to Southern Iowa

* WIND...Southwest winds of 20 to 25 mph with gusts to 30 mph

* HUMIDITY...Minimum relative humidity in the afternoon of 15 to
  25% within the watch area.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
Red Flag Warnings.
