This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Showers and weak thunderstorms will gradually end by 9 AM this
morning, mainly northwest of a Cedar Rapids to Dubuque line.

Late this afternoon and especially overnight, a more widespread
area of showers and thunderstorms is expected to move east across
Iowa into Illinois by Friday morning. Severe storms are not
expected, but some locations could see up to 1 inch of rain, and
gusty winds to 40 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

Thunderstorms will end Friday morning, with no severe storms
expected.

Monday and Tuesday, a strong storm system may bring a threat of
severe storms to much of the outlook area. The Storm Prediction
Center has a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) with all-modes of severe
weather possible.

Spotter activation is not expected today and tonight.
