This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois, northwest Illinois, west central Illinois, east central
Iowa, northeast Iowa, southeast Iowa, and northeast Missouri.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Hot weather will return to eastern Iowa and northeast Missouri
today, with afternoon heat index readings between 93 and 98
degrees.

A cold front will arrive by late afternoon, and will bring the
threat for isolated strong to severe thunderstorms as it moves
east across the area. Isolated damaging winds, large hail, and a
low chance for a brief tornado are possible, especially between 4
and 7 PM, in northern Illinois.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed late this afternoon and early
this evening.
